Ziggy in a Balloon FAQ

How do I play?

Hold a finger anywhere on the screen: Ziggy fans the flame and the balloon rises. Let go and it slowly sinks. Fly through the gaps between storm clouds and kites, steer clear of birds, collect star coins and reach the flag at the end of the level.

What is Little ones mode?

It makes every flight gentler: 3 hearts instead of one, a slower flight and wider gaps. It's on from the start. You can switch it off - or back on - in the game's Settings (the gear on the main menu).

How do grown-ups get to the parents' area?

Open Settings from the main menu. Links outside the game, the privacy policy and writing to us sit behind a parental gate: a multiplication question written out in words, such as “seven times eight”. Type the answer on the number keys and the parents' area opens.

How do we open the next world?

The Sunny Meadow is open from the start. The Misty Mountains open after meadow level 15. Seaside Town, Candy Land and Starry Night open at 60, 90 and 120 level stars. Replaying a level for a better result earns the stars you missed.

What are star coins for?

Spend them in the Hangar on new balloons and outfits for Ziggy. A few things are earned differently: the Moon balloon arrives with the Starry Night, and the Flower is the reward for a seven-day Daily Challenge streak.

What is the Daily Challenge?

One night flight a day with a star goal. Reach it to win star coins and a surprise. The week strip on the challenge screen counts your streak - fly seven days in a row and Ziggy earns a flower to wear.

There's no sound.

Check that the iPhone isn't in Silent Mode and that the volume is up. In the game's Settings, sound effects, music and vibration each have their own switch - make sure the ones you want are on.

Will my child lose their progress?

Progress and settings are saved on the iPhone itself. They are part of your iCloud or computer backup, so restoring a backup - for example onto a new iPhone - brings them along. Deleting the game deletes its progress.

Can I change the game's language?

The game speaks English and Slovak and follows your iPhone's language. To choose a language just for the game, tap Language in the game's Settings - it opens the game's page in the iPhone Settings app.

Are there ads or in-app purchases?

There are no ads. There is nothing to buy in the game right now - everything in the hangar is earned by flying.
